Our youth Bunge is actively growing our business around pig rearing and pork production. We live on the edge of Lake Victoria and while many people run businesses selling fish, there is a niche market for pork. It is less expensive than beef and female pigs reproduce three times a year. Further, pigs grow to maturity very quickly.
Our biggest challenge is around building pig enclosures. We are building a business plan to figure out costs for creating enclosures and would like to partner with other bunges who have expertise in this area.
Mobile Movement projects earn badges through education and training. Roll over each badge to learn about it. These badges help donors/mentors see the progress of a group, and help groups build towards "degrees" at the Mobile Movement University.
