El Elohe Landscaping & Artworks
We transform low-income neighborhoods through sustainable landscaping and urban agriculture projects.
El Elohe is already successfully managing its first loan of $200 on a solar-cooker project to promote green energy and help the neighborhood move away from the use of charcoal, the most common fuel used in Africa and a major contributor to deforestation and CO2 emissions. Support El Elohe members in their next venture: to grow and sell kitchen garden plants such as kale, cabbage and tomatoes to households in their district using low water, high-yield agriculture techniques. Contribute to food security and environmental sustainability all at once!
This startup loan will be go to the purchase of high quality seeds, reusable bags, soil, gardening tools, marketing and outreach activities. It will help El Elohe continue their green transformation of one of Nairobi's lower income neighborhoods one plant at a time!
