BROSIS - Brothers and Sisters Youth Group
We are working to create a business where we create new forms of energy that are environmentally friendly.
BROSIS is a small youth group that makes and sells low-cost charcoal briquettes using leftover charcoal bits and other debris. Currently, they make the briquettes by hand and want to purchase two low-cost briquette-making machines that will increase their productivity. Their future goal is to make sawdust briquettes that are more environmentally friendly.

We are a small youth group comprised of 7 young women and 14 young men. We pool our resources together in order to uplift ourselves and support a school in our community. Right now, we make low cost charcoal briquettes for sale, using leftover charcoal bits and other debris. We make these by hand. BROSIS wants to purchase machines and start using sawdust to make properly formed briquettes that are still low cost but also environmentally friendly. We can get sawdust for free because there are a lot of carpentry projects in our community and right now the sawdust goes to waste. The machines will increase the number of briquettes we can make and therefore we can generate more income.
